Understanding Your Assessment

What information is included in my assessment?

  • Progress photos from different angles
  • Any areas of pain or discomfort you’ve reported
  • Functional test results
  • Your practitioner’s findings and notes about your posture

Can I see all my assessment photos?

You can view most of your assessment photos to track your progress over time. Some specialized photos used for clinical analysis may not be visible to maintain focus on your overall progress.

What are "posture findings" in my assessment?

These are your practitioner’s professional observations about your posture and movement patterns. These findings help guide the creation of your personalized exercise program.

Your Exercise Sequences

What are exercise sequences?

Exercise sequences are personalized programs created specifically for your postural needs. Each sequence contains a series of exercises designed to improve your posture, reduce pain, and enhance your overall function.

How many exercise sequences will I receive?

Typically, you’ll receive 4 exercise sequences over a period of 4-6 weeks. Each sequence builds upon the previous one as your posture improves.

Can I choose between different versions of my exercises?

Yes, most sequences offer both a shorter version and a standard/longer version, allowing you to choose based on your available time and energy level.

Can I download my exercises to view offline?

Yes, you can download PDF versions of your exercise sequences to your device for offline viewing or printing.

What if I have questions about an exercise?

Each exercise includes written instructions, photos, and videos. If you need clarification, you can message your practitioner directly through the platform.

Tracking Your Progress

How do I mark exercises as completed?

You can mark sequences as completed each time you do them – whether that’s daily, twice a week, or whatever schedule works for you. You’ll also answer brief questions about how you’re feeling before and after your exercises.

Can I see my progress over time?

Yes! You can use the comparison tool to view your before and after photos side by side, helping you see the improvements in your posture over time.

How often should I do my exercises?

Understanding Your Treatment

What is posture therapy?

Posture therapy focuses on strengthening your body’s deep stabilizing muscles (called the Postural Chain) that help maintain optimal posture against gravity. This approach addresses the root causes of postural problems rather than just treating symptoms.

How is this different from other therapies

Traditional therapy usually focuses on the spot of the pain, but we look at the whole body and what misalignments and compensations are creating the environment that the pain is happening in. Unlike traditional therapies that often focus on larger, surface muscles, posture therapy targets the deeper stabilizing muscles that specifically counteract gravity’s effects on your body. These exercises are designed to retrain your body to work functionally, addressing the root cause of your issues.

How long before I see results?

Many clients report feeling more upright and stable within the first few weeks. Visible changes in posture photos typically become apparent over the course of your 4-6 week program, though individual results vary.

What should I expect to feel during exercises?

In the beginning phases of therapy, the exercises are gentle movements that will not be overly challenging. You won’t sweat or become breathless. You may notice improved stability, better balance, and a sense of feeling more upright. The exercises should not cause pain, but you might feel muscles working that you haven’t used in a while.

Your Health Information

Can I view my complete medical history on the platform?

You can view the health information and assessment details that your practitioner has documented during your visits. This includes your progress photos, exercise history, and appointment notes relevant to your care.

Are my appointment notes private?

Some notes are shared with you to help you understand your progress and treatment plan. Other clinical notes remain private between your practitioner and the clinical team for professional care coordination.

How long is my information stored?

Your health information is securely stored according to healthcare record retention standards. Contact your practitioner if you have specific questions about your records.

Payment & Billing

How does billing work for my treatment?

Billing is handled directly between you and your clinic. The platform itself doesn’t process payments – all financial arrangements are made with your practitioner or clinic administrator.

Are there additional costs for using the platform?

Platform access is typically included in your treatment costs. Check with your practitioner or clinic about any specific billing questions.

Concerns

I'm not seeing changes as quickly as I'd like. Is this normal?

Everyone progresses at different rates. Posture changes developed over years take time to improve. Stay consistent with your exercises and communicate with your practitioner about your concerns – they may adjust your program as needed.

I missed several days of exercises. Should I restart?

Don’t restart – just resume where you left off. Consistency over time is more important than perfect daily compliance. Let your practitioner know if you’re having trouble maintaining your routine.

Some exercises feel too easy while others feel too difficult. Is this normal?

Yes, this is common as different muscle groups may be at different strength levels. Your practitioner can adjust exercises as needed. Always communicate about exercises that feel inappropriate for your current level.

Can family members see my information?

No, your account is private and secure. Only you and your authorized healthcare providers can access your information.

Getting the Most from Your Program

What's the best way to stay motivated?
  • Use the progress comparison tool regularly to see your improvements
  • Communicate with your practitioner about your goals and concerns
  • Focus on how you feel (more stable, less pain) rather than just visual changes
  • Remember that small, consistent efforts lead to significant long-term improvements

Can I continue exercises after completing my initial program?

Your practitioner will guide you on continuing your exercises and may provide additional sequences or maintenance programs based on your progress and goals.

What should I do if my condition changes or I have new pain?

Contact your practitioner immediately. They can assess whether your program needs adjustment or if additional evaluation is needed.
